Welcome to Lompoc Church of Christ

Welcome to Lompoc Church of Christ

It’s always a real joy for us to meet and have new members in our church family.  We’re glad you visited lompoccc.org. To us, that means you might be interested in getting to know us. We know visiting a new church can be awkward and uncomfortable. You might be unsure about our beliefs, location or church times.  Here you will find useful information about us, our service times, past lessons, future events, and even a brief study of God’s Word which will be updated weekly.  If you don’t see what you’re looking for, click here to email us. He’ll gladly help you out.

Our mission is leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Whatever that next step is, it’s time to take a bold step of faith out of your comfort zone and discover what God has in store for you. We believe that you can’t grow with God and stay where you are!

What to Expect

Worship

Our Sunday mornings are a time of fellowship with each other and worship. Our Bible Classes begin at  9:30 am and our morning worship services begin at 10:40 am.  If you have a bible, we encourage you to bring it.  In all worship services songs to communicate the word of god and to contribute to worship. Also in all services, you’ll hear biblical preaching by our minister Roy Senior.

Each Sunday we also have an offering in which we pass plates to collect financial contributions from our members. Our members share in the mission and work of this church by giving both their time and a portion of their income. If you are a guest, just drop your visitor card in the tray as it passes.

Communion

We take communion every Sunday morning at Lompoc Church of Christ. Communion is a special meal that baptized Christians share to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Not only do we remember Christ during this meal, but we also express our unity with one another by participating in it. We typically pass the different parts of the meal (bread/crackers and juice) down the aisles in trays.

If you feel comfortable sharing this meal with us, we invite you to do so. If not, any of our staff members would love to talk with you about baptism, communion and life in a Christian community.
